About the course

Every candidate completing our ACPT Scheme must have an allocated Educational Supervisor to facilitate and support them through their training period.  In order to become an Educational Supervisor, you must complete the online ACPT Educational Supervisor Training Package.

The training package consists of a series of video presentations and quizzes, providing you with knowledge of and testing your understanding of the ACPT Scheme and associated National Framework, your role and responsibilities as an Educational Supervisor, and the associated Scheme handbook and appendices.  The package also includes multiple video tutorials with step-by-step instructions and demonstrations of how to perform tasks on the e-portfolio system – VQ Manager.

The training package is delivered solely online and can therefore be accessed at your convenience at a time and place that suits you.  You will be provided with continual access so it can be used as a reference tool if ever you should need to recap anything you have learnt, even once you are up and running.
