Supporting and developing research in clinical anatomy Supporting and developing research in clinical anatomy

Our links with surgery and pathology enable us to provide support and facilities for research applied to anatomy.

Previously we have been involved with projects on the lymphatic system and peripheral nerves and more recently "Using comparative anatomy to reconstruct the thumb"

In 2015, we enrolled the first Year 4 MBBS medical student as an Intercalated Master in Research student and will continue to appoint promising students in the future.

If you would like to use clinical anatomy to support your research, our competent and enthusiastic team would be happy to offer their help and guidance. Contact us for more information at anatomy@uea.ac.uk.
