Health Education England (HEE) and The National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Integrated Clinical Academic (ICA) Programme provides personal research training awards for healthcare professionals (excluding doctors and dentists) who wish to develop careers that combine clinical research and research leadership with continued clinical practice and clinical development. The School of Health Sciences at UEA is only one of ten universities in the UK that are funded to run this prestigious Masters programme. 

Funding for this course covers the successful applicants' salary and course/tuition costs.

Prospective students should:

  • Belong to a statutorily registered profession (please consult the following website to see if you are eligible for this course

  • Have been working for a minimum of 1 year

  • Provide NHS services in England

Studentships are available on both a full-time and part-time (50:50) basis.
