Summary
This project looks at how and why teachers use technology (EdTech). We take a place-based approach to build a new model for understanding teachers’ agency with technology in context.Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques, such as named entity recognition, cosine similarity and models such as BERT, will be used to summarise the qualitative data and perform sentiment analysis as well as generate appropriate data visualization to reveal underlying patterns.
Our model will help educators in primary and secondary schools, and aid researchers and policy makers across the UK.
