In this talk 'Landscapes of Memory and Power in the Valle Chimo: Assembling the Moche Valley Settlement Database (MVSD)' I discuss the synthesis of the Moche Valley Settlement Database (MVSD) and how combining archaeological and historical settlement patterns with aerial and drone imagery can help illuminate the deep pasts of memory and political power embedded in the landscape of the Moche Valley in northern Peru.
