Dr Simon P Hammond (Chief Investigator)
Dr Simon P Hammond is an Associate Professor in Education in the School of Education and Lifelong Learning and an Honorary Associate Professor at the Norfolk and Suffolk Foundation Trust (NSFT). Simon leads high-profile, complex multimillion-pound projects that seek to promote children and young people’s well-being across health, social care, and education sectors. He sits on Ofcom’s Research Working Group, had his work on Digital Life Story Work cited by National Institute for health and Care Excellence (NICE) and is frequently invited to share his expertise on children and young people’s use of digital media.
Ella Mickleburgh (Research Associate)
Dr Ella Mickleburgh is a research associate at the Norfolk and Suffolk Foundation Trust. Ella led the realist literature review for LIMITLESS I. Ella then went on to manage an implementation project looking at how parent-led CBT can be delivered within primary schools. Ella has since taken up a role within LIMTILESS II where she is leading on the process evaluation within the project.
Dr Carys Seeley (Senior Research Associate)
Dr Carys Seeley is a Senior Research Associate on the LIMITLESS II Core team. Carys is excited to join the team in developing a “LIMITLESS Toolkit” aimed to aid in providing better support and improved wellbeing for care-experienced adolescents. Carys has previously worked in EDU, supporting Simon on the ‘CaringLife’ Project as senior research associate. She has also previously worked within the Clinical Trials Unit at UEA as a research associate in the process evaluation team. Prior to this, Carys completed her PhD at UEA in 2022, investigating how children understand death and how their parents talk to them about it.
Paige Skevington (Research Assistant Psychologist)
Paige has recently completed an MSc in Social and Applied Psychology at the University of East Anglia. She has previously worked in student welfare roles as a mentor and Residential Life Assistant, contributing to her interest in investigating a female student perspective on substance use during her MSc. She most recently worked on a research project focussing on student wellbeing initiatives at one university institution.
Maddy Mirza (Administrative Assistant)
Maddy is an experienced Administrator with the National Institute of Health and care Research (NIHR) in which she has contributed to the delivery of various health and social care projects, including mental health work packages. She is a qualified teacher (BA Hons, PGCE) and has previously worked with young people in schools and social care. Her administrative work has been in Universities and local government across the UK.
