Summary
The project proposes an online device security solution to enhance the security of Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) and legacy systems. It provides privacy, safety, and resilience measures utilising machine learning (ML) methods and fuzzy logic. The solution is a lightweight, easy-to-setup software solution for end users, such as the NHS, private healthcare providers, IoMT device manufacturers, with an emphasis on limiting the downtime of critical health systems and devices. This solution does not require any infrastructural alterations and is device independent as it leverages a novel multi-tier management software setup installed at the Cloud server side to evaluate the security and data integrity of the IoMT devices. The device independent nature of the solution makes it scalable. The product is a Software patch for IoMT and will be marketed as Software as a Service (SaaS).
