New Building for Science and Engineering at UEA

Our new £30 million state-of-the-art teaching and learning building is currently being built on campus and opened in September 2019.

The 7150m2 four-storey space will include three floors of flexible science teaching laboratories, allowing both large and small practical teaching across science subjects, including Environmental Sciences, Computing, Biology, Physics, Engineering and Chemistry and Pharmacy.

The space is designed to promote interactive learning and multi-disciplinary collaboration to inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers. As a student at UEA it will allow you to gain invaluable hands-on experience in using a range of scientific equipment and research techniques to prepare you for your future career.
