What happens at an Applicant Day?
Applicant Days run on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and include subject-specific sessions and other optional activities such as campus and accommodation tours and Q&A panels.
If you have already been to an Open Day and feel like you have fully explored our campus and accommodation, then you are welcome to join just for your subject sessions. Or we also offer a free bus ticket in to Norwich on the day of your Applicant Day, so you can explore the city centre at your own pace.
For more information on the schedule for your Applicant Day, see our Applicant Day programmes page, where you'll find an example programme for your subject and schedules for the different days.
To find out what to expect from your Applicant Day from a student perspective, check out our student blog.
Can't make it to campus?
We understand that not everyone can make it to visit us in person, so along with your invitation to attend an on-campus Applicant Day you will receive a link to your personalised Applicant Hub. Your Applicant Hub is full of on-demand content about your course, life at UEA and the vibrant city of Norwich.
You'll need your unique link to access the Hub, don't worry if you can't find the email, get in touch at recruitmentevents@uea.ac.uk and we'll resend it.
There are two sections to the Applicant Day; the subject sessions and the optional activities. If you have already visited UEA, you may want to prioritise attending the subject sessions over the optional activities.
The optional activities include tours of campus, accommodation and other facilities such as the library and Sportspark. We also host a Life at UEA talk, which is a Q&A panel between a lecturer and current students on what life is really like at UEA. You'll also get the opportunity to ask your own questions.
The times that these sessions and activities take place will depend on whether you attend on a Wednesday or Saturday, please see schedules for each day below.
