Study and Modules
Structure
Achieve the highest-level management qualification possible with our prestigious, 12-month full-time MBA. Become immersed in practical consultancy projects and work alongside a select and internationally diverse cohort of peers on a rigorous programme with a world-class reputation.
Our AMBA accredited MBA is taught through a combination of lectures, seminars and workshops delivered by internationally recognised academics and industry specialists. The programme is designed to maximise the benefits of being part of an experienced group of peers from a range of professional backgrounds. Optional modules are co-taught with our Executive MBA students and include some online, evening sessions.
Compulsory Modules
Optional A Modules
(Credits: 30)Whilst the University will make every effort to offer the modules listed, changes may sometimes be made arising from the annual monitoring, review and update of modules. Where this activity leads to significant (but not minor) changes to programmes and their constituent modules, the University will endeavour to consult with students and others. It is also possible that the University may not be able to offer a module for reasons outside of its control, such as the illness of a member of staff. In some cases optional modules can have limited places available and so you may be asked to make additional module choices in the event you do not gain a place on your first choice. Where this is the case, the University will inform students.
Teaching and Learning
Lectures will be supported by utilising applied learning constructs and case studies to help you develop strategic-level knowledge and skills.
You’ll develop an analytical approach to problem solving enabling you to evaluate and interpret the strategic environment. This will enable you to progress the skills necessary to effectively assess your own business organisation and apply MBA learning to address future strategic development, including leading and influencing strategic change.
A core aim of the programme is to develop your cognitive skills through the integration of taught material from diverse modules of study and its application in analysing problem-based situations.
Assessment
You’ll be assessed using a variety of individual coursework, which applies theory to practice; examinations; individual professional discussion; and group work (presentations and written reports).
