Chemistry’s Research Associates and Fellows may enrol in many courses focused towards supporting and progressing academic careers offered by the University’s Centre for Staff and Educational Development (CSED). Networking and career support opportunities are provided by the Research Staff Forum held on the last Friday of every month in Vista at 3:30 pm. This event is organised by Chemistry’s researchers together with Dr Garth Jones, Chemistry’s Research Staff coordinator. Dr Jones and research supervisors are happy to advise on career development opportunities.

All research associates and fellows are supported in their career development through regular appraisal in accordance with University guidelines.
