Still Learning How to Keep Children Safer
This study was carried out in parallel to the study ‘Building on the Learning from Serious Case Reviews' The study's aim was to undertake a scoping exercise to inform the development of a revised framework for conducting national reviews. The study includes a critical appraisal of the approaches used in previous biennial reviews and Ofsted reviews, focus groups and a wider survey of views about approaches to local and national learning from serious case reviews. The study was led by Dr Peter Sidebotham at the University of Warwick and Professor Marian Brandon from the Centre was a Co-Investigator.
