UEA places in top 25 in the UK for research quality in prestigious global university rankings

The University of East Anglia has been recognised among the top 25 in the UK for research quality.

Published today, the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2027 are based on five key areas of university performance – teaching, research environment, research quality, international outlook, and industry engagement.

Each area is measured using a range of detailed indicators, which are combined to create an overall score and ranking.

These rankings are widely used by students, academics, and policymakers to help inform decisions about study, research and collaboration.

UEA has also placed in the 301-325 leading universities in the global rankings.

This latest result follows a month full of achievements for the University, including strong subject performances in the Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2027 and recognition as one of the world's leading universities for research collaboration in the Research Collaboration Index.
