From day one, we provide students with careers advice and guidance to help develop their professional skills, increase confidence and to prepare them for work. We work closely with the different departments and schools to make sure our offering is aligned with a student’s degree discipline.
We deliver over 100 workshops each year, offering support in a variety of areas, including CVs, applications and graduate jobs. These interactive sessions allow students to practice in a safe, collaborative space and get feedback from their peers and trained careers staff.
We also have a team of dedicated and experienced careers advisors who provide one-to-one appointments, allowing students to get personalised advice and feedback, practice interviews and get the help they need when planning their career path or further study route.
Our service is designed to support students at every stage of their studies, not just with finding a graduate job. We understand that every student is different, and need different levels of support, which is why we offer such a diverse range of ways to engage with the Careers service.
