We give UEA students careers advice and guidance to help you develop your professional skills and confidence, and prepare you for work.
We understand that every student is different, and needs different levels of support. So our services are designed to support you at every stage of your studies – not just with finding a graduate job.
We also work closely with the University's departments and schools to make sure our service aligns with your degree discipline.
Careers advisers, workshops and events
Our team of professional careers advisers help you to develop your ambitions for your working life after graduation.
Finding a job can be a daunting process. But our advisers are on hand to help you gain the confidence to explore your next steps – whether that means getting a part-time student job, continuing further study or securing your first job after your degree.
One to one appointments
We offer one-to-one appointments, which can take place face-to-face or virtually, in the following formats:
Careers query (15 mins)
Guidance appointment (45 mins)

Skills workshops
We also offer workshops across lots of different topics, such as:

Careers events
Throughout the year, we also hold careers events for students and recent graduates. These include talks, workshops and fairs facilitating those valuable opportunities to network with a range of employers.
