Victoria University of Wellington has four campuses spread across Wellington and its suburbs. The university has 21,000 students and is ranked first among New Zealand universities for research performance. The university has plenty of facilities and large study and social spaces. Victoria University of Wellington also runs a host of clubs and societies from languages to sports and music.

Wellington is a thriving capital city that is compact and easy to get around. It provides a vibrant space to explore, including anything from galleries, the music and theatre scene to mountain-biking, kayaking and surfing just 15 minutes from the centre of the city. The city is known for its colume of cafes, pubs and restaurants and whatever vibe you are looking for, you are sure to find it in the small city. For the outdoorsy, the city is hilly with plenty of stunning lookouts. There are also beautiful beaches and bays to explore. Water activities are popular so this could be a good opportunity to try out a new hobby!
