Subject talks held at UEA London
We are welcoming teachers and year 12 students to a series of free Information evenings about studying Arts and Humanities, Social Sciences and Science at university. The events will take place at our UEA London campus (located in central London, near Liverpool Street Station). Each evening will provide an opportunity to find out about a wide range of courses as well as networking opportunities with other teachers, students and University academics. These presentations are designed to raise aspirations and challenge some of the myths surrounding higher education. There is no charge for the presentations, and the advice provided is impartial and aimed at promoting HE generally. The team are also happy to offer interactive workshops on subjects such as ‘Budgeting for University’, ‘Writing a Personal Statement’ and ‘UCAS’
The team are happy to attend school or college HE fairs or arrange visits by a member of our team of trained Student Ambassadors to give a current student perspective.
Alternatively, you might be interested in bringing a group of your students to visit UEA to get a sense of campus university life. We can offer tours of our campus, subject specific talks and/ or the general talks as outlined above.
