1+3 Studentships 1+3 Studentships

The Faculty of Social Sciences at UEA are pleased to announce three Studentships available for the MRes Social Science degree as part of a "1+3" doctoral award (Masters + PhD).

The studentships cover tuition fees (UK/EU rates) and a tax-free maintenance grant (currently £15,009 per year) for a period of 4 years. These awards are available for Sept 2020 registration on a full-time or part-time basis. You can read more about the studentship here.

How to Apply

To be considered for an award, you should submit your application for admission to the MRes Social Science Research Methods degree. You will need to indicate to us that you wish to be considered for funding.

Before you submit, identify a possible supervisor and discuss your proposed topic for the PhD with them.

Studentships are awarded to students on an academic basis taking into consideration relevant disciplinary background and exceptional academic ability. Applications are invited from those who have or expect to achieve a 2.1 degree or higher in a relevant discipline.
