Norwich Bioscience Institutes Postgraduate Research Students Norwich Bioscience Institutes Postgraduate Research Students

Welcome from Professor Dave Evans – Chair of Graduate School Executive

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the Norwich Bioscience Institutes (NBI) Graduate School. The NBI are a collection of world-leading research institutes that explore a diverse range of fundamental and strategic biological sciences in a multi- and inter-disciplinary research environment. As a member of the School, you will make a major contribution to the active research community and its cutting-edge research.  Students are registered for their research degrees at the adjoining University of East Anglia and have full access to the University’s academic and social life. The global challenges of the 21st century are enormous and advances in the biosciences, including plant science, microbiology, biological chemistry, harnessing food for health and controlling food-related diseases, offer real opportunities to address these. We aim to provide a stimulating, dynamic and friendly environment where postgraduate students have the opportunity to develop and explore their full potential as researchers so that they can find future gainful employment and contribute to society in a wide range of occupations.
