Postgraduate Research Office

The PGR office caters for the needs of postgraduate research students and is responsible for answering a wide variety of enquiries from students and faculty studying science at UEA.

The responsibilities of the office encompass the registration and induction of all new postgraduate research students in the sciences based on the UEA campus. It oversees all aspects of postgraduate training including enrolment and attendance on the PPD programme, the booking of the Postgraduate Study Centre room, the supervisory system and monitoring, annual reporting procedures, arrangements for thesis submission and the appointment of examiners. It provides advice and support to supervisors and students on all matters relating to academic progress.

This site provides you with information and advice relating to your degree studies. There is a section on Frequently Asked Questions which we would advise you to take a look at, as it may save you a journey to the office and allow you to organise your time more efficiently. There are several links to forms and publications which can be downloaded. You will also find information on science societies and events, past student reviews, health and safety, Congregation, timetables and past theses.

We hope you find this site useful and easy to navigate around. It is our intention that it will make your student experience more enjoyable and less stressful.
