Nursing Summer School
23-24 August 2018
The Nursing Summer School is for young men and women in year 12 (or equivalent) considering a nursing degree. This residential event is free to attend and includes accommodation, food and activities – but students must meet certain eligibility criteria as set out in the application form.
Students will take part in a range of activities covering Adult Nursing, Children’s Nursing, Learning Disability Nursing and Mental Health Nursing and develop skills and knowledge vital to health professionals such as drug calculations and clinical observations.
Being part of the summer school includes follow up support such as a personal statement workshop and a mock interview.
