Industry Connections
Peter Bloore is the first Senior Lecturer in Creativity at UEA and teaches undergraduate and post-graduate modules on creativity, film business, and script development. He is also a produced screenwriter and has worked extensively as a media business consultant for clients including the National Film and TV School; Prescience Film Finance; Cass Business School; Media Xchange; and a range of film production companies including Rebecca O'Brien and Ken Loach's company Sixteen Films; Stephen Woolley and Elizabeth Karlsen's Number 9 Films; and Nicole Carmen-Davis and Rebekah Gilbertson's Rainy Day Films.
Roger Hewins combines his teaching on TV production at UEA with his continuing personal practice and work as a freelance film-maker.
Patrick McGrady combines his teaching at UEA on creativity and the TV business with his role as MD of RTS award-winning production company Wavelength Films. Based in Norwich, Wavelength makes documentaries for the UK and international market. Patrick's recent credits as a director include the BAFTA-nominated Stephen Fry & the Gutenberg Press (BBC), Felicity Kendal's Indian Shakespeare Quest (BBC2), Suggs' Italian Job (Sky Arts) and the theatrical documentary Wagner & Me, which has been released in cinemas in the USA, UK, Germany and Australia.
