Our courses

We offer a three-year BSc Physics and a four-year MPhys Physics.

Our degrees are designed to give you a firm grounding in fundamental physics concepts, before allowing you to specialise in either applied or theoretical fields.

Thanks to the genuinely interdisciplinary nature of scientific research at UEA, we can offer a unique mix of modules, taught by experts in a wide range of fields. You can study theoretical physics and fluid mechanics with leading mathematicians, chemical physics and spectroscopy with our highly rated chemists, and geophysics and oceanography with internationally renowned environmental scientists.

Physics research takes place across the entire Faculty of Science, incorporating many highly regarded Schools of study.
