Welcome Week

Welcome Week is a fantastic programme to help new students start university feeling confident, settled and ready for their new adventure.

Now in its sixth year, Welcome Week has grown to include even more opportunities for students to learn about their new home, what support and services are available, meet people and develop a sense of belonging to the UEA community.

Spring Welcome 2026

Spring Welcome will return 21-23 January, offering a programme of events for incoming students starting in the new year, including a crafting evening, board games night and speed painting session!

Welcome Week 2025 marked another brilliant period of activity throughout September, with a programme that offered everything from owl encounters to games nights, a firepit evening and even a mega Mario Kart tournament!
