This Code of Practice and associated Codes and Briefing Notes have been developed to demonstrate the steps that will be taken to ensure that the University has a culture of dignity and respect and to ensure its compliance with the Equality Act 2010 and other relevant legislation.
The University has a zero tolerance of unlawful discrimination, harassment or bullying and aims to ensure that staff are treated with dignity and respect at all times and are protected from such behaviour and/or actions.
The University will thoroughly investigate all reports of inappropriate behaviour and conduct and will take appropriate action to address the situation that is proportionate to each case in line with the relevant University’s Disciplinary, Grievance and Equality & Diversity Code of Practice for Staff.
Reporting incidents – The Never OK reporting form is intended to be used to gather information on incidents of assault, harassment and hate that is experienced by staff, students and visitors. The information will be used to offer support, guidance and identify preventative measures to reduce incidents. You can choose not to provide identifying information, however if you do, we will not be able to offer any support or guidance.
