Course aim
This is a fully online course which aims to provide the community workforce with knowledge and skills to better support the individuals they work with and to make every conversation count to improve nutrition behaviours.
Course content
This course is split into five different modules titled:
MODULE 01: Blueprint for Nutrition
MODULE 02: What is a Portion?
MODULE 03: Understanding Food labels
MODULE 04: Smart Food Purchasing and Preparation
MODULE 05: Nutrition and Mental Health
The modules will introduce behaviour change theory and evidence-based strategies throughout. They will also highlight key client-centred communication skills to aid conversations about dietary change.
Course fees
£125 - Standard fee
£50 - voluntary sector and students
