New partnership welcomes first students to UEA degree courses in Pakistan

The University of East Anglia has welcomed the first cohort of students to study its degree programmes at International College Lahore (ICL).
The milestone this month marks the latest development in UEA's partnership with ICL, extending access to UEA qualifications in Pakistan and providing students with the opportunity to earn a UK degree while studying in Lahore.
A purpose-built higher education institution, ICL is UEA's exclusive strategic partner in Pakistan.
Students joining ICL will be able to study a range of UEA undergraduate programmes spanning computing science, international business management, marketing and law.
The programmes are designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in rapidly evolving global industries, while benefiting from UEA's academic expertise and reputation for excellence in teaching and research.
Prof Steven McGuire, Pro-Vice-Chancellor International and Deputy Vice-Chancellor at UEA, said: "We are delighted to welcome the first students who will be studying UEA degree programmes at International College Lahore.
"This marks an important milestone in our partnership and demonstrates our commitment to broadening access to high-quality higher education around the world.
