Fostering A Supportive and Vibrant Research Environment

Our Law School demonstrates research excellence in a number of key areas - Competition Law, Media, Technology and Intellectual Property Law, and International Law. There is also a significant element of empirical and interdisciplinary work in the school.

Our Law School has had success in winning large grant applications – in particular from the Economic and Social Research Council with the Centre for Competition Policy. This is a collaborative endeavour with the School of Economics, the School of Politics, Philosophy, Language and Communication Studies and the Norwich Business School. Smaller grants have also been received from the British Academy and Legal Services Board. The school also works with government departments and other users of our research.

You can read more about the research specialisms of the School on the Research Areas page. Our staff publications can be found on their personal pages.
