This places residents and staff at risk of influenza complications.
Vaccinating care home staff reduces death rates, hospitalisation and influenza-like illnesses among care home residents. it also reduces sickness absence rates among healthcare staff. We've developed an intervention called FluCare which we hope will improve the flu vaccination uptake of care home staff.
