Welcome to Working with Words
Working with Words is UEA’s annual celebration of careers that have writing and creativity at their heart. Every year we bring alumni together to share their expertise and experience with current students, helping you to learn, research and prepare for your career.
Although we hope to return to the Julian Study Centre in 2022, Working with Words remains, for the moment, an online event.
On this website you will find pre-recorded interviews, blogs and podcasts archived from the 2020 event and over the course of April and May 2021 we will add the 2021 recordings, including the main panel discussions and live Q&A sessions taking place between 3-7 May 2021.
