UEA is a campus based university with a student population of 16,000 and is home to more than 4000 International and EU students from over 120 countries. You can meet our staff and students at various events around the world and in the UK.

The University offers Open Days and Campus Tours throughout the year. Our tours are geared towards giving international visitors the opportunity to experience our unique surroundings and first-class facilities.
Those holding Studentereksamen, Hojere Forberedelseseksamen or Hojere Handelseksamen (minimum score of 9) will be considered for direct entry to undergraduate study (Bachelor degree programmes). Note that some courses require a higher score - please check specific details for the course(s) you are interested in.
Holders of a Candidatus and Magister will be considered for entry to postgraduate study(Master degree programmes).
Holders of a good Masters degree will be considered for entry to MPhil/PhD study.
ERASMUS EXCHANGE AGREEMENTS
Many undergraduate students come to us for either one semester or a full academic year as a part of an exchange agreement with European universities.
Under the ERASMUS scheme exchanges are restricted to certain subjects and institutions. You can find out more about such exchanges by visiting our ERASMUS pages.
English Language Requirements
All applicants to the University of East Anglia must be able to demonstrate an acceptable level of English language before they can be admitted onto any course or programme.
The below are guidelines only. Please be sure to check requirements for your specific course.

*Those not meeting the above English language requirements are encouraged to consider and English Language programme at INTO UEA in preparation for our degree courses.
EU Fees and Funding
Students from the EU starting undergraduate courses in 2018 will be able to access a loan to cover the cost of the tuition fee from Student Finance England. UEA also offers scholarships and bursaries. Visit our EU Fees and Funding page for more information on the options available.
Vice Chancellors International Undergraduate Scholarship
The Vice Chancellors International Undergraduate Excellence Scholarships are designed to reward outstanding international applicants, who have been offered a place to study with UEA.
Scholarships are awarded in amounts of 25% or 50% of your tuition fees and are deducted on a yearly basis from your tuition fees.
