Equal Pay and Gender Pay Gap Reporting

UEA Code of Practice for Staff - Equal Pay and Gender Pay Gap

This Code of Practice has been revised to reflect the introduction of The Equality Act 2010 (Gender Pay Gap Information) Regulations 2017, which came into effect on 6 April 2017 and The Equality Act 2010 (Specific Duties and Public Authorities) Regulations 2017, which came into effect on 31 March 2017.

The Code sets out the University’s commitment to identifying issues of gender pay difference (including pay matters such as promotion and discretionary bonuses) and to seeking to tackle and reduce identified gender pay gap.

The purpose of this Code of Practice is to raise the awareness of the University’s staff about equal pay and gender pay gap reporting and their responsibilities under the Equality Act 2010.

The University has a statutory duty to publish its Gender Pay Gap report on an annual basis.
