Our global partnerships play a key role in our global success.
We have an active network of over 200 university partners around the world, creating opportunities to our students to benefit from an international experience while studying at UEA.
This includes student mobility through our degree programmes and summer placements abroad, online learning (Collaborative Online International Learning – COIL), and a diversified campus experience through welcoming visiting students to integrate in to our degree programmes at UEA.
In all areas of our activity, there is a need to better understand and promote our place in the world. UEA's programme of global engagement prioritises this. UEA is active across the globe through an extensive programme of international development, our work through Norwich Research Park, the Sainsbury Centre, and an extensive network of research and consultancy links.
We embed this ethos with our students, staff and wider community, providing opportunities to engage in and develop internationalisation across our campus community.
We engage in high-impact research and consultancy, address global challenges facing society, influence government policy and work to improve the lives of communities worldwide.
We build a strong foundation for globally connected research and education within a welcoming, inclusive, culturally diverse and sustainable environment. We are a proud member of the Universities UK International (UUKI) UK-Ukraine initiative, actively collaborating with our partner Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University (PNU) since 2022. And we fully support the Universities UK International ambition to increase the UK's outbound student mobility, we’re actively engaged in the Department for Education’s Turing Scheme, creating opportunities to widen access for inclusion to international experiences for students at UEA.
