We have now considered your request of 20 September 2026 for the following information:

Question 1. I am requesting a list of investments (both the amount and the company invested in) in companies which have any percentage of their turnover from the following activities:

- The production of cigarettes or tobacco products

- The production of pornographic material

- The manufacture of anti-personnel weapons that may incapacitate or kill civilians, such as land mines and cluster bombs

- Operate thermal coal mines or oil and/or gas fields or in companies where significantly all of their business activity is the extraction of thermal coal, oil or gas.

- Are directly involved in the operation of betting or gambling operations

- Have a record of direct involvement in human rights abuses, as may be determined by an internationally recognised body (including, without limitation, the United Nations), or which have explicit links to such entities

Our response:

Not applicable. The University’s Investment Policy state exclusions regarding investing in any company which breach our exclusion policy, and specifically any company which is involved in activities as noted in your request. Therefore, the University do not invest in any companies which are involved in any of the listed activities.
