Certificate of Higher Education in Common Law - 2023/24

A candidate for the Certificate of Higher Education in Common Law must be registered in the University as a Visiting Student.
The programme of study shall begin at the start of the Autumn Semester and shall be of no less than two semesters’ duration.
Each candidate shall undertake modules specified by the School of Law in the Course Profile and totaling 120 credits. Consideration of the modules shall be governed by the University’s Regulations for Undergraduate Awards (Bachelors and Integrated Masters).
The Certificate shall be awarded on the recommendation of a Board of Examiners comprising a Chair (who shall not be the Head of the School), external examiner (s) and at least two additional internal examiners, who are academic staff having a major responsibility for teaching and/or assessment of course.
