Upon entering through the front entrance, turn right and access the door marked "Student Social Space". Inside, there will be a door to your left marked MoveX Lab. Ring the doorbell and one of the MoveX Lab team will come and greet you.
Access to the main campus is available through two primary points: Earlham Road and Bluebell Road. Your route and point of entry to the MoveX Lab may vary based on your chosen method of transport.
Arriving by car
If you are arriving by car, follow the road until you reach the mini roundabout. Turn into Chancellor's Drive and head down the hill. As you pass the first building on your right (The Park Building), turn right to access the West car park.
At the barrier, press the intercom and inform UEA Security that you have an appointment with the Movement and Exercise Lab. Once the barrier is raised, turn left and proceed to the largest section of the car park to find an appropriate space.
To notify your arrival, you can call the MoveX Lab directly on 01603 591989, where a member of the team can make their way to you and provide your car with a parking permit.
Arriving by bus
The University has a range of public transport options available for you.
Cycling to MoveX Lab
UEA have invested over £1 million on cycle infrastructure over the last 10 years. This investment has ensured that the campus now has over 3,600 cycle parking spaces, improved lighting, and CCTV on the cross-valley link. We recommend using a D-lock to lock your bicycle to a cycle rack.
The MoveX Lab also has sheltered cycle racks, which are located between the MED Building and the Thomas Paine Study Centre.
