At Norwich Medical School, we offer two undergraduate degrees. Our MB BS Medicine degree and MB BS Medicine with a Gateway Year, are well established degrees and offer students a fully integrated curriculum. Students on our MB BS course experience clinical placements in primary and secondary care from the first year of the course, allowing direct clinical application of clinical sciences from day one of the course.
Our modern collaborative approach to learning promotes the team-working and leadership skills necessary to be a successful doctor. We place great emphasis on coaching and developing your communication skills, relating to patients and their loved ones in a compassionate and understanding way.
At the end of the undergraduate course, you will receive your MB BS (or equivalent) degree, which is a primary medical qualification (PMQ). Holding a PMQ entitles you to provisional registration with the General Medical Council, subject only to its acceptance that there are no Fitness to Practise concerns that need consideration.
