The University of East Anglia (UEA) has been ranked in the top 100 in the world against four of the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2025 ranks 2,526 universities from 130 countries or territories based on their progress towards the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The annual table provides an opportunity for higher education institutions to highlight the positive work they are doing for society in terms of sustainability, health and well-being, gender equality, economic growth and justice.
UEA stands out globally in four key SDGs, reflecting its commitment to sustainability, equity, and the environment:
13th in the world for SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities
46th globally for SDG 13: Climate Action
45th worldwide for SDG 15: Life on Land
89th internationally for SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production
