UEA project lead: Prof Bill Collins
Prof Bill Collins from the School of Environmental Sciences has been awarded a five-year Wolfson Fellowship funded by the Royal Society and Wolfson Foundation.
This Fellowship proposes to explore how artificial intelligence (AI) can improve our predictions of future climate change.
The goal is to determine whether machine learning can make transformative contributions to our ability to predict climate change that differ in kind, not merely in degree, from traditional methods.
