UEA has a reputation for innovation and diversity of expertise. Since it was founded in 1963, UEA has broken the mould in a number of areas, from creative writing to environmental sciences, in which it continues to lead the field. But our media profile goes far wider than that, with high profile work undertaken across all of our four faculties.
The UEA Communications Office liaises with the media, issues press releases and finds experts to comment on the major stories of the day. We have an ISDN radio studio which is in constant use and run regular media training sessions and more general staff training sessions on getting research into the media. We also monitor the university's profile in the media.
