It is with great sadness that we have had to take the decision to cancel this year's FLY Festival. This is in line with the Government’s advice to prevent the spread of Coronavirus.

However, we're very excited to announce our brand new project, The Lockdown Diaries, launching on Friday 3rd April 2020 for students aged 11-16 in Norfolk and Suffolk.

The Lockdown Diaries is a project focussed on providing local students with a creative outlet to reflect and respond to the COVID-19 lockdown. Over the coming weeks we will be running a series of creative activities for students and their families to take part in, each activity will reflect on current affairs.

At the end of project, a selection of entries will be chosen to feature in a local anthology to celebrate the creativity and resilience of the region's young people during these extraordinary times.

The Lockdown Diaries anthology will be illustrated, printed and distributed to schools across Norfolk and Suffolk in the autumn term.

Our first activity is called CHALLENGE 8, an 8-week series of creative challenges launching on Friday 3rd April via our Twitter page @UEAFLYFestival and @OutreachUEA - can you complete them all?
