This chapter describes the experiences of various healthcare professionals who participated in an interdisciplinary clinical leadership programme based on practice development approaches and incorporating critical companionship support. The chapter describes their experiences as they worked with their teams towards creating flourishing cultures in their workplaces. The chapter culminates with a research framework developed by Helen Stanley as part of her doctoral thesis to describe the simple rules that are effective in clinical leadership programmes as well as the paradoxes that exist.
