The School of Biological Sciences will hold its annual Colloquium on Tuesday 2 July at the Julian Study Centre, where researchers will present their latest work to colleagues and guests.
The day will showcase the broad range of multidisciplinary research undertaken in the School over the last year, giving an insight into what the future holds. Talks by senior academics and research staff in combination with poster presentations by BIO PhD students and BIO postdocs will make cutting edge research accessible to a varied audience.
Our guest speaker this year is Prof Ben Garrod, Professor of Evolutionary Biology and Science Engagement, University of East Anglia, whose talk is entitled “The Evolution of an Evolutionary Biologist: how my 375 million year old family tree led me here.”
The event will be followed by a social get-together with drinks and nibbles in the BIO Atrium.
Everyone is welcome.
