We have now considered your request of 28 October 2026 for the following information:

Please provide the following information regarding any bookstore, bookshop, campus store, or similar retail outlet operated by or on behalf of the University:

1. Does the University currently have a bookstore?

2. If yes, how long has it been in operation, or in which academic year did it open?

3. Is it operated directly by the University or by a third party?

4. Is the bookstore located on campus or off campus?

5. Does the bookstore share premises with any other facility or service (for example, a café, coffee shop, food outlet, convenience store, or student services)? If so, please briefly describe the co-located facilities.

If the University does not currently have a bookstore, please state this and, if known, provide the date on which it ceased operating.

Our response:

The University does not currently ‘have’ a bookstore either on campus or off campus grounds.

Previously, the University had a Waterstones bookstore on campus which ceased operating on 04 November 2020.
