We have now considered your request of 05 October 2026 for the following information:

I am writing to request information regarding exam access arrangements and extra time accommodations granted to undergraduate and postgraduate students at your institution.

Please provide data for the following academic years: 2016/17 through 2025/26 inclusive.

Please provide the following information:

Question 1. Breakdown by Reason/Disability Category:

For each academic year, please provide the number of students receiving extra time broken down by the reason they receive extra time (e.g., specific learning difficulties/neurodivergence, mental health conditions etc)

Our response:

On this occasion it is not possible to provide any of the requested information. In line with your rights under section 1(1)(a) of the Act to be informed whether information is held, we confirm that the University does not hold any recorded information for a students receiving extra time accommodations broken down by reason they received extra time. The University do not record this information when a student requests or is granted extra time adjustments, we do not categorise or record the reasons why a student is requesting extra time or was granted extra time.
