We have now considered your request of 10 September 2026 for the following information:

Question 1. The end date of your institution's current contract with StudentPad Ltd for the provision of student accommodation listing / off-campus housing portal services.

Question 2. The date the current contract commenced.

Question 3. Whether the contract includes any renewal, extension, or break clause options and, if so, the notice period required.

Our response:

On this occasion it is not possible to provide any of the requested information. In line with your rights under section 1(1)(a) of the Act to be informed whether information is held, we confirm that the University does not hold any recorded information for date of current contract with StudentPad Ltd, the date the contract commences and whether the contract includes any renewal, extension or break clause options.

The University of East Anglia do not have a contract with StudentPad Ltd, therefore we do not hold any of the recorded information.

Outside of the Act, we may suggest contacting UEA Student Union, a separate entity to the University for the purposes of the Freedom of Information Act, however, as they are not a public body, may not respond to any requests for information made under the FOIA.
