We have now considered your request of 06 September 2026 for the following information:

Question 1. A100 Medicine - Could you confirm the average UCAT score (on the current /2700 scale) of applicants invited to interview, and/or of those who received an offer, for the most recent completed cycle?

Our response:

The average UCAT score of an applicant invited to interview, for 2026 entry, was 2012. The average UCAT of an applicant invited to interview, for 2026 entry, was 2067.

Question 2. How are GCSEs used, if at all, in the pre-interview shortlisting score — are they scored directly alongside UCAT, or considered separately?

Question 3. In the 50:50 post-interview combination, is the UCAT component the raw score, a decile/banded score, or something else?

Our response:

The UCAT is the cognitive overall raw score.
