We have now considered your request of 17 August 2026 for the following information:
Medicine and dentistry admissions data, October 2024 and October 2025 application cycles
I am making this request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
It relates to all courses you offer, for example: A100, A101, A200.
I am requesting data for two admissions cycles, which I have identified by their UCAS deadline to avoid any ambiguity:
• Cycle A: the October 2024 UCAS deadline, for entry in September 2025
• Cycle B: the October 2025 UCAS deadline, for entry in September 2026
Please report each cycle and each course code separately. Both cycles are complete, so I am not asking for anything relating to the cycle currently in progress.
For any UCAT figure you supply, please state the maximum score the scale runs to, so that the two cycles are not read against each other in error.
Question 1: Application volumes
For each course code and cycle, the number of:
a) applications received
b) applicants invited to interview
c) offers made
d) offers accepted
Broken down by home and international fee status, and by standard and contextual route.
