We have now considered your request of 31 July 2026 for the following information:

Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I would like to request the following information regarding funding received by your institution from the State of Qatar, Qatari government bodies, Qatari state-owned entities, the Qatar Foundation, or any organisations or individuals acting on their behalf.

Please provide, for the period 1 January 2023 to the present:

Question 1. The total amount of funding, donations, grants, gifts, sponsorships, endowments, or other financial contributions received.

Our response:

£212,150.00. This amount of funding was received for student tuition fee payments. We did not receive any other donations, gifts, endowments or other financial contributions from the State of Qatar during the requested period.

Question 2. The names of the entities or individuals providing the funding.

Our response:

Qatar Energy and Embassy of Qatar.

Question 3. The purpose of each payment or donation, including any associated departments, centers, programmes, scholarships, research projects, chairs, or events funded.

Our response;

Tuition fees sponsored.

Question 4. Copies of any conditions on the fundings

Our response:

Not applicable. There were no conditions to the funding.
