We have now considered your request of 24 July 2026 for the following information:
For the queries below, I am strictly referring to applicants who have applied to the A100 Medicine course for both 2025 entry and if possible 2026 entry or to the relevant admissions policies and selection procedures used for the most recent, eligible admissions cycle where information can be requested from, unless asked for otherwise.
For clarification, the year of entry is when the start date is in September/October 2025 and September/October 2026 respectively.
Please separate any requested statistics by their respective applicant status, applicant group and year of entry where appropriate.

Question 8. University of East Anglia’s Undergraduate Medicine page states under the header “How will you process my application?”: “interviewed applicants are ranked (by interview scores – which includes the UCAT SJT subsection score - and UCAT overall scores) within the applicant cohort.”
With regards to the “UCAT overall scores” in the context of the statement quoted, could you clarify in detail the process for how an applicant's UCAT score is used when ranking for making offers post-interview?

Applicants interview score is ranked. The UKCAT total score is ranked for those interviewed. These two ranks are added together. This new combined rank is then finally ranked.
Question 9. With regards to the “UCAT SJT subsection score” in the context of the second statement quoted, could you confirm the number of points that each Band was allocated?
