We have now considered your request of 21 July 2026 for the following information:

Question 1. Please provide details of any payments made by your institution between 1 January 2016 and the date this request is processed to external organisations or consultants engaged to assist with the preparation, writing or submission of nominations for the King's (or previously Queen's) Honours.

This includes, but is not limited to:

Our response:

On this occasion it is not possible to provide any of the requested information. In line with your rights under section 1(1)(a) of the Act to be informed whether information is held, we confirm that the University does not hold any recorded information for any payments made to external organisations or consultants engaged to assist with preparation, writing or submission of nominations for the Kings Honours between 01 January 2026 and the date of receipt of your request. A search of our financial records and data held by our Vice Chancellor’s Office who record data relating to submissions of nominations for Kings Honours, did not provide any results for payments to any external organisations or consultants.

Question 2. If payments have been made to any other organisation or individual providing similar services, please include these in your response.

For each payment, please provide:

• the name of the external organisation or consultant

• the date of the payment

• the amount paid

• the name of the individual on whose behalf the nomination was prepared, where disclosure is permitted under the Act

• that individual's job title or position within the university and

• whether the nomination resulted in the individual receiving a King's or Queen's Honour, if this information is held.
